Idea Generator

Image
I chose this particular picture because I wanted my print advert to have a simple background and also to be the main focus of the advert itself. The last photo that I got was the fact that the background had to much light at the back and will ruin the main focus, which is me. This is the end result. As you can see the background has low light which is perfect so it won't ruin the main focus of the print advert. This one by far was the best out of the others because it is simple and appealing to look at, and also it is very informative as it has the saying '' Did you know that a smile can make someone's day even better?'' This is aiming at people that don't know the benefits of smiling and by adding that saying, will make them feel better to know that a simple smile can make someone's day even better.

Evaluation

Image
Drafts:   The first experimentation that I did was basically a mess of pictures and emojis. The font that I used for putting the images is called 'Collage' so I just added random images to it of what I thought that would be it. The feedback that I recieved is that there is to much going on and that I should limit down the images and emojis. This one was meant to be an upgrade for the previous one that I did, It turned out to be a lot worse. I added a lot of random images and emojis where I thought it would be enough but the feedback that I got was for me to just stick with one image that the audience would put their eyes on and add a fact quote on it for the audience to be informed and lastly, adding one single emoji. This one right here is a very simple. I basically took a picture of myself and added a huge smiling emoji on top of my face and the facts about smiling. The only issue with this one is the background, the sunshine made the print advert to bright and it wasn'...

Evolution of PlayStation from Celtx

Introduction Technology has changed over the years, so much so that it has impacted our lives and the way we interact with other people online. Here, I'll be talking about how the PlayStation has changed over time and how it has impacted our lives. My documentary will be as long as 2 or 5 minutes and it will be a couple of weeks of production. It relates to the brief because it talks about how the digital age has changed over the years and how it impacted our lives and mental health, the PlayStation relates to this because it had a massive change over the decades and it did impact people’s lives and mental health. PlayStation The origins of the very first PlayStation dates back to 1994, in Japan. It was created because Sony wanted to rival Nintendo 64 and since it was released on 3 December, 1994 it became a huge success; as the console was shipped to other countries more than 100 million units. The PS1 had the ability to utilize discs to play games and it had a controller, which...

My Print Advert

Image
As you can see from above images, I had to experiment multiple times to pick out the best one for my print advert. The photoshop that I used to create these print adverts is the app called 'Polish' it is sort of a tricky app to use at first but, its very simple to use. The print adverts that have multiple random images and emojis on it, never made it to the final because I was told that I need to use my own face for this and not from the internet, as this will give me even higher mark. Also, I was told that the emojis didn't make any sense and there is to much going on there, so my final print advert is the first one, its simpler and cleaner than the previous ones, as it includes me in it and one big smiling emoji. I limit the number of images to one because this will attract even more audiences to the print advert rather than adding a bunch of images, as this will not attract many audiences as I intended and it's pretty hard to read the text of some adverts. My final...

Interpretation of the Brief

The Interpretation of the Brief Who is the audience?: My audience are younger people for the ages 11-19. In my documentary, I mainly talk about how the PlayStation has changed over time and how Sony had to make changes for each successor. I do think that my younger audience will be interested in this documentary because they themselves haven't played the older versions of the console, like the older generation and they would probably be interested how Sony improved their consoles over the years. What they require?: The documentary will be about to 5-10 minutes long. Now a days gaming has become more of a social activity due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, as they can't meet up with friends instead, younger people will be dependent on social media and gaming to be able to contact with friends not only that but due to the fact gaming can make them feel relaxed about the situation, and don't feel anxiety about COVID-19 cases and deaths; which is being overly talked subjec...

Location Scouting for my Print Advert and Health & Safety

AC4: Professional Practice & Proposal

Image
AC4: Professional Practice The location that I have chosen to make my documentary is the college because it has the equipment that I need to make my documentary such as Premier Pro and voice over microphone, since I don't have a good quality equipment to make my documentary from home and I can't afford to get those type of equipment. Proposal:  Hi, My name is Bruno Singer, I would like to propose my idea. This idea that I'm about to introduce to you is a documentary about the Evolution of the PlayStation. What I will discuss is I'll be going back to talk about the very first PlayStation, all the way to the current one; which it means that I'm going through the changes of each console and why Sony change them. Personally, I think this would be a good idea because this will inform my young audience about the console that they love to play their games on and also informing them about the changes that it went through over the years. The length of my documentary will be...

Explaining my flat plan

Image
In this flat plan, this is going to be my print advert. What it is, is a refugee camp and in the background; some camps and families once had a home escaped their country due to war and had to live in a camp and waiting for help to legally go to another country. Also, its snowing outside as they don't have a proper home, they will struggle during the winter and trying to combat the cold by making a camp fire as you can see above and there is a family close to the fire trying to stay warm. On the right side, you can see another camp but this time, a family member grieving over a death of a loved one and you can see that they buried the loved next to the camp. At the centre of the print advert, you can...

AC2: Problem Solving

Image
AC2: Problem Solving Chosen Idea: My chosen is Evolution of PlayStation. The reason why I chose this one over the other ideas that I have on my mind map on Coggle is because I'm familiar to the PlayStation more than other consoles and I'm a fan of PlayStation myself. This idea is interesting to me as a fan of the console as I wanted go back in time to play the very first PlayStation and how it changed over the years. Refine your idea: The location for this documentary is going to be made in college because it has all of the equipment that I need to make this documentary, such as the voice over microphone as my documentary is going to have me explaining to you about the evolution of PlayStation.  Meeting the brief: My idea does meet with the brief because the documentary that I'm doing does relate with digital age. In the documentary, I'll be talking about how the PlayStation changed over time and how sales have gone up when they were released, respectively.  Script Play...
