Evolution of PlayStation from Celtx

Introduction Technology has changed over the years, so much so that it has impacted our lives and the way we interact with other people online. Here, I'll be talking about how the PlayStation has changed over time and how it has impacted our lives. My documentary will be as long as 2 or 5 minutes and it will be a couple of weeks of production. It relates to the brief because it talks about how the digital age has changed over the years and how it impacted our lives and mental health, the PlayStation relates to this because it had a massive change over the decades and it did impact people’s lives and mental health. PlayStation The origins of the very first PlayStation dates back to 1994, in Japan. It was created because Sony wanted to rival Nintendo 64 and since it was released on 3 December, 1994 it became a huge success; as the console was shipped to other countries more than 100 million units. The PS1 had the ability to utilize discs to play games and it had a controller, which...

My Print Advert

Image
As you can see from above images, I had to experiment multiple times to pick out the best one for my print advert. The photoshop that I used to create these print adverts is the app called 'Polish' it is sort of a tricky app to use at first but, its very simple to use. The print adverts that have multiple random images and emojis on it, never made it to the final because I was told that I need to use my own face for this and not from the internet, as this will give me even higher mark. Also, I was told that the emojis didn't make any sense and there is to much going on there, so my final print advert is the first one, its simpler and cleaner than the previous ones, as it includes me in it and one big smiling emoji. I limit the number of images to one because this will attract even more audiences to the print advert rather than adding a bunch of images, as this will not attract many audiences as I intended and it's pretty hard to read the text of some adverts. My final...

Location scouting from BrunoSinger2

Culture and Digital Age Diary

What did you do?: I did research about the evolution of PlayStation and writing about different PlayStations over the years. What went well?: The research went pretty well, I didn't had any problems of finding the information.  What do you need to do in order to develop your skills?: I need to get better at Premier Pro and knowing different techniques in Premier Pro. What are you doing to do next?: AC2 Problem solving AC2: Problem solving What did you do?: I just finished my research and now, I'm currently on AC2: Problem solving. The first thing that I did was to write why I chose that particular idea. Update: I have finished the AC2 Problem Solving what I did was writing about how my documentary meets the brief and refining my idea and when is going to be filmed etc. What went wrong?: I couldn't get the scripts etc finished in time and I'll try to finish it next time. What do you need to improve to develop your skills: Is to finish the work on time. What are you doin...

My Experience with YouCut

This the first time that I used YouCut, since I can't use Premier Pro due to the college being closed. YouCut isn't that complicated as Premier Pro, it's actually a bit easier in my opinion. When you go to YouCut, you chose a piece of footage from your album and you can start to edit. For my video, I filmed the parking area and the a tiny garden of my apartment and I used texts to describe how 'beautiful' Sunderland is. Using the texts isn't that complicated but the one thing that I find it a bit of a challenge is adding music, I went to the music section and I choose the one that I liked but it took me a long time to figure it out how to take the music that I choose and put it on my video. I did manage to figure it out, all you need to is to go to music and chose the one that you want and click on it and there is the 'free' button and click it and it will appear an add and after the add is over, that button changes to 'use' button and your music...

AC4: Professional Practice & Proposal

Image
AC4: Professional Practice The location that I have chosen to make my documentary is the college because it has the equipment that I need to make my documentary such as Premier Pro and voice over microphone, since I don't have a good quality equipment to make my documentary from home and I can't afford to get those type of equipment. Proposal:  Hi, My name is Bruno Singer, I would like to propose my idea. This idea that I'm about to introduce to you is a documentary about the Evolution of the PlayStation. What I will discuss is I'll be going back to talk about the very first PlayStation, all the way to the current one; which it means that I'm going through the changes of each console and why Sony change them. Personally, I think this would be a good idea because this will inform my young audience about the console that they love to play their games on and also informing them about the changes that it went through over the years. The length of my documentary will be...

Explaining my flat plan

Image
In this flat plan, this is going to be my print advert. What it is, is a refugee camp and in the background; some camps and families once had a home escaped their country due to war and had to live in a camp and waiting for help to legally go to another country. Also, its snowing outside as they don't have a proper home, they will struggle during the winter and trying to combat the cold by making a camp fire as you can see above and there is a family close to the fire trying to stay warm. On the right side, you can see another camp but this time, a family member grieving over a death of a loved one and you can see that they buried the loved next to the camp. At the centre of the print advert, you can...

The Documentary Reflection

Image
In this shot, one of our group members took a footage from the gaming design room. The only complaint for this shot is the camera shakes a lot, we need to improve a lot on the camera grip to reduce the shaking. The other shot from college is the hall. The only thing that needs to improve is the focus, almost the entire shot was out of focus
