Bar Chart results

Image
The graphs helped me to inform my idea because I can see the results and preferences of other people. For instance, majority of my audience chose Games over VR probably due to the fact that it's a lot entertaining than VR. The graphs are also helpful because my audiences can also voice their opinions about which console is better, for example I put out a question above why do they prefer PlayStation over Xbox and some have answered they have grown up with the console and that the PlayStation has better games than Xbox.

Evaluation

Image
Drafts:   The first experimentation that I did was basically a mess of pictures and emojis. The font that I used for putting the images is called 'Collage' so I just added random images to it of what I thought that would be it. The feedback that I recieved is that there is to much going on and that I should limit down the images and emojis. This one was meant to be an upgrade for the previous one that I did, It turned out to be a lot worse. I added a lot of random images and emojis where I thought it would be enough but the feedback that I got was for me to just stick with one image that the audience would put their eyes on and add a fact quote on it for the audience to be informed and lastly, adding one single emoji. This one right here is a very simple. I basically took a picture of myself and added a huge smiling emoji on top of my face and the facts about smiling. The only issue with this one is the background, the sunshine made the print advert to bright and it wasn'...

MY PROJECT PLAN FOR FOLEY SOUND VIDEO

Image
Describe your project: What do you hope to achieve? What is the purpose/function of the work? Is it for entertainment, promotion, information, education etc. ?  My goals for my project is to create foley sounds for The Incredibles scene and how it works is by finding the perfect foley sounds from websites that are free to download any sound that I need for the scene and make it even more realistic. This project is for entertainment purposes as I will change few things in  my project to make it entertaining. How do you hope to source the materials required for the project, and where has your research into this led you to? I hope that the sources of foley sounds that are available on foley websites have everything that I need for my project because I have searched the foley sounds that I needed and currently, I still haven't found them yet but I'm still hoping that one of these websites have the sounds that I really need. Also, I will try to create my own sounds from home ...

Due to COVID-19, the equipment is very limited as I used apps from my phone to do my documentary.

Evolution of PlayStation from Celtx

Introduction Technology has changed over the years, so much so that it has impacted our lives and the way we interact with other people online. Here, I'll be talking about how the PlayStation has changed over time and how it has impacted our lives. My documentary will be as long as 2 or 5 minutes and it will be a couple of weeks of production. It relates to the brief because it talks about how the digital age has changed over the years and how it impacted our lives and mental health, the PlayStation relates to this because it had a massive change over the decades and it did impact people’s lives and mental health. PlayStation The origins of the very first PlayStation dates back to 1994, in Japan. It was created because Sony wanted to rival Nintendo 64 and since it was released on 3 December, 1994 it became a huge success; as the console was shipped to other countries more than 100 million units. The PS1 had the ability to utilize discs to play games and it had a controller, which...

My Print Advert

Image
As you can see from above images, I had to experiment multiple times to pick out the best one for my print advert. The photoshop that I used to create these print adverts is the app called 'Polish' it is sort of a tricky app to use at first but, its very simple to use. The print adverts that have multiple random images and emojis on it, never made it to the final because I was told that I need to use my own face for this and not from the internet, as this will give me even higher mark. Also, I was told that the emojis didn't make any sense and there is to much going on there, so my final print advert is the first one, its simpler and cleaner than the previous ones, as it includes me in it and one big smiling emoji. I limit the number of images to one because this will attract even more audiences to the print advert rather than adding a bunch of images, as this will not attract many audiences as I intended and it's pretty hard to read the text of some adverts. My final...

Interpretation of the Brief

The Interpretation of the Brief Who is the audience?: My audience are younger people for the ages 11-19. In my documentary, I mainly talk about how the PlayStation has changed over time and how Sony had to make changes for each successor. I do think that my younger audience will be interested in this documentary because they themselves haven't played the older versions of the console, like the older generation and they would probably be interested how Sony improved their consoles over the years. What they require?: The documentary will be about to 5-10 minutes long. Now a days gaming has become more of a social activity due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, as they can't meet up with friends instead, younger people will be dependent on social media and gaming to be able to contact with friends not only that but due to the fact gaming can make them feel relaxed about the situation, and don't feel anxiety about COVID-19 cases and deaths; which is being overly talked subjec...

2 documentaries

Image
The first documentary that I found on YouTube is simply titled 'COVID-19'. The documentary talks about how the virus is affecting everyone in terms of mental, economic, and social. The documentary is filmed in Australia and shows the impact the virus is causing, empty streets, people getting unemployed, shops being temporarily closed, etc. At the end, the person narrating the documentary tells us to be hopeful and that we are in this together and one day, we will beat the virus. My overall view on this documentary is that its very informative, at the beginning it stated facts about COVID-19 cases and deaths and at some point in the documentary, tells us how the social distancing and hygiene is slowing down the infections around Australia. I would recommend this documentary even though its sad but its also educational and informative. The camera angles for this documentary are focus shots, they show you places around Australia that were usually filled with people, for example t...
